History

From Marktplatz 8 to Marktplatz 11.

  1. 2006

    Francesco Ialazzo opens Pizzeria Capri in Ingelheim – at first a small pizza parlour at Marktplatz 8.

  2. 2013

    A move into the converted bakery across the square, Marktplatz 11 – where the ristorante opens.

  3. 2019

    Golden Pizza Plate of the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani (APN) for Pizzeria Capri.

  4. 2024

    A refit – since then, two golden mosaic dome ovens have been baking. Plus a recommendation in the restaurant guide “Frankfurt geht aus! 2024”.

  5. 2026

    Certified as a “Pizzeria DOC” by the Accademia Nazionale Pizza DOC.

  • Margherita di Bufala

    The world champion’s pizza with San Marzano DOP tomatoes, basil, olive oil, the finest buffalo mozzarella DOP and Parmesan

  • Pizza Sofia

    with San Marzano DOP tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella DOP, smoked fior di latte, salsiccia (coarse sausage), cherry tomatoes and cabbage leaves

  • Pizza Sorrentina

    with San Marzano DOP tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella DOP, olive oil, cherry tomatoes, basil

All pizzas are also available gluten-free on request.

Outdoor seating on the market square in good weather. Card payment accepted. There are steps up to the entrance (with a handrail).
